Norwich City 0 - 1 Derby County

Could it get anymore crushing than that abject defeat last week? A case where the players didn't play badly but just did not seem to function at all. Very scary and I have no answer.

Changes in formation/tactics are needed. I take the simple view that professional footballers should function at the least in a basic competent way, but they are not.

Maybe Rooney needs a rest, maybe we should accept that Marriot will never replicate that night at ER, maybe accept that Clarke should be the central pillar and we miss Keogh? I dunno.

Sound negative? Don't mean to be but last week shocked me but along with every one of the Faithful I will be 100% behind them on Saturday.

Norwich, relegated last season will be a stern test. Very stern, really F.O. stern. Still it will all be over by 2.30pm.

ADDENDUM: one Derby legend who will be on the pitch today:- Stuart Attwell

My first love Diana Rigg died the other week. I can thank her for the power in my right wrist.
