Not having Kun or Jesus running into strikers positions in the area seriously negates City's high speed cross from the inside right/left channel. I might have been tempted to give Delap a run for the last 20 minutes today, just to shake it up a bit. The best team for the first and last 20 minutes but without creating much more than 1 clear chance which I did expect Sterling to put away and the goal he did score.
Really not convinced by Mendy anymore, Ake may be a better solution there until Zinny/Cancelo are fit and available.
Need a striker back.

I had the game on when was doing some training so it didn’t have my u divided attention, but the same did cross my mind, saw a few balls put deep across the box throughout the game and thought a proper striker probably would of been on to one. I’d love to see Delap get a proper chance at it

Why is ja 606 an obsession for the scousers? They ruin any sensible discussion.

It really is ruining every thread.

Killing the forum Melts, look how many posters have stopped posting. The odd wum is one thing but the constant wummery, which is primarily but not totally Liverpool fans will see the end of ja sadly, people just cannot be bothered posting when any attempt to actually discuss football is smothered with idiocy.

Yep, it’s certainly made me post less. It’s a shame as we’ve got a lot to be talking about!

Hard to take it seriously anymore.
Decent threads disintegrate almost immediately when they turn up.

Should be pretty quiet on here tonight if anyone has anything City to talk about...

I agree grated, a good evening for a sensible debate, probably scouse free for once. Will avoid the opportunity to wum them.
Sad what the forum has become really.

Just on the op, the other thing we’re missing is the pressing from the front Jesus gives us.
Mahrez without the ball causes us a lot of issues.

Mahrez is what would used to be called a luxury player. When things are going well he is great, when they aren't he isn't the guy to put a shift in to turn it around. Add that to Mendy and the lack of a striker for a few weeks and there is work to do if we are to catch Everton. Not something you can say every day.
