Trent gets dragged infield far too easily, Gomez was beyond awful, and VVD still thinks he can jockey attackers towards the penalty spot.
The high line isn't really the issue, as 9 times out of 10, well play it well, and win.
Tonight was a total abomination.
Klopp and the players need to apologise, and move on.

Thought it was more your midfield than the high line as such. It was the time Villa had to make that pass through the high line that was different, normally you stop that from happening quickly.

Was mad you didn’t adjust too though.

I feel u have played either a milner or hendo. Something is not wmright with fab wij and keita starting. It seems to light weight. And fab should be moved back to cb I feel

But he addressed that. He bought pretty much the best midfielder going ...who ten took out mane with covid

Look on the bright side. Team decimated by covid, A bunch of wicked deflections and lucky bounces, is all. Should happen at least once or twice every 30 years or so. Expected challengers are still doing worse than us so far.

If you want to kid yourself that it was a few wicked deflections and lucky bounces then so be it. But I watched the whole game and it certainly wasn't that. What it was however was a good old fashioned pasting and Villa really could have had more than 7 goals.
