Knockaert

Spot on as usual Red, though it looks like Wilson is off to Cardiff, with a loan fee of more than a million, plus pay all his wages, not sure we would have gone for that. Knockaert would be good, as Hughton knows him and obviously trusts him, didn’t realise he was only 27, nearly 38, seems to have been around for ages. Grosicki, not bothered one way or the other, he chose WBA last season, so speaks volumes imo. The start we have made is going to hamper us for sure, but 4 wins to catch up is eminently do able in this division. I must admit Hughton gives me confidence, though I also thought Warb’s and Karanka would fair better than they did. Blackburn tomorrow imo is a free hit, with Rotherham at home being the prep for El Cloughico, 7 points from those 3 would be excellent, but most importantly don’t lose El Cloughico.

Knockaert and Grosicki are both good players but not too bothered if we miss out to be honest. I've been saying that we need to reduce the squad not increase it. I know of few youngsters have gone out on loan, but was hoping we could get such as Hefele, Bong and Clough off the books.

If we don't sign anyone we still have a decent squad, if we do sign those two and don't make the playoff at least the owner will go ballistic.

Grosicki looks like a done deal.

Knockaert has signed til 7 Jan, seems a very strange one to me. Surely it should have been a season long or nothing, though there are two schools of thought, if it doesn’t work he goes back, he plays well the price goes up. Though tbh I think he will be a solid acquisition.
