Captain Liam Cooper is a doubt because of a groin injury and Diego Llorente is out with a similar problem.

Wolves summer signing Fernando Marcal has recovered from a calf problem and is expected to play.

Fellow wing-back Jonny Otto is the only definite absentee for Nuno Espirito Santo's side.

If we compare equivalent fixtures from last season we are actually three points worse off this season.

That's probably the dumbest comment so far mate, especially as Fulham and Leeds weren't in this league. There are some on here that rely too much on stats. I'm afraid.

7th, 7th and currently 6th and it's the same pant wetters whinging, just like they do during transfer windows.

We are Wolves, which includes ups and downs, so If you don't like roller-coasters, stay off the ride.

Nuno is doing a great job with the tools, both old and new, right now.

It was meant to be a dumb comment to highlight the pointlessness of league tables early season.

Who is wetting pants by the way? The only one that seems to be going overboard after every game and getting worked up is you. Most of us just comment as a game unfolds, rough and smooth.

If we want to finish top six, which is the clubs aim we will need to play much much better, why is that such a controversial opinion to you but nobody else?

Technically the whole of football relies on stats. Final score, games won, drawn and lost, goal difference, goals scored, head to head records, top goalscorer, most clean sheets etc.

All of those stats are used to decide who wins games, league positions, awards etc.

I only comment on the games they've shown live over here and I've actually watched, which so far is Sheff Utd, Fulham and Leeds. Incidentally we've won all 3 and not conceded, so I do wonder if some on here who make out they watch all our games, actually do.

By the way, I said "rely too much on stats". The only stat that matters during a game is the final result. All the rest are purely for the record books.

So basically because you have only seen wins you think everything is perfect. Some of us watched the shambles at west Ham, yesterday first half was no different, possibly even worse performance wise. Why are we not allowed to say that because we eventually win the game?

I sincerely hope Nuno puts more thought into where to improve than just looking at the final scoreline.

So because you haven't watched all our games, it means others can't have. What kind of stupid logic is that?

All of Wolves' league games have been televised over here; so of course people have been able to watch them. Everyone can get streams on hesgoal for every game too.

Didn't make sense to me either. Think I have seen all five league games so far I believe. Easy in the US, either on NBC sports or Peacock which costs 5 bucks a month.
