Stranger things have happened. That challenge on VVD will have a colossal impact on Liverpool. City don't look impressive at all right now and Chelsea have an atrocious defence. Utd are too inconsistent.

The best 3 teams I've seen so far are Everton, Villa and Spurs. Only misplaced entitled laid back arrogance cost you lot yesterday. I don't know who was to blame for that 2nd half but you should've piled on the misery with no mercy. If it's all West Ham then defend with the same intensity till the end.

The fixture list has been very kind to us from the beginning of the season. With our squad, we should already be looking at 4/5 wins. Instead we have 2.

Questions should already be asked of Jose after no progess in a year.

Jose cannot be blamed for two goals conceeded with the last kick of the game. No manager can legislate for that. I prefer to stick with the good points about the side.

He could have literally done nothing and we would have won.

Are you saying you would not have brought Bale on with 20 minutes to go, and leading 3-0. Every manager in the world would have. I agree he should not have brought Winks on, Bale would have been the only change for me.

Chelsea's defence is as leaky as ours, they'll always offer chances up to the lower teams. Still, they should have been expecting to win the game.

Burnley away next is exactly the kind of game we don`t need, they are yet to win and who better to play when you are chasing an upturn in fortunes than Charity Hotspur.

I will be amazed if we take 9 points from our next 3 games with our defensive frailty.

For a man who's built his reputation on defensive stability I don't think Joses anger at what happened on Sunday should be underestimated.

Like most I didn't agree with the players he brought on/took off or the timing of the subs but he quite understandibly thought the game was won and he will be livid with those players who he thinks have made him look foolish.

I'm very glad we have an opportunity to restore some sanity against a very average team on Thurs as I wouldn't of wanted to go to Burnley on the back end of the West Ham fiasco.

If Jose didn't get the "its all gone a bit Spursy" saying before Sunday he will do now.

To be honest, I'm pretty happy with Jose this season. My main gripe with him was when we were putting in those insipid displays like 0-0 at Bournemouth.

If we keep playing like yesterday then I'm fine with him.

Yeah I agree with this. Top 4 finish is possible, QF of a domestic cup coming up and the football has been exciting so far. Those are 3 things I’d have demanded from him really to justify his position so I’m not complaining about him. Just need to actually win the cup, finish top 4 and keep playing good football. Having said that, instilling the ability to actually see a game out to the final whistle would go amiss.

To be fair Ace, I don`t think any manager could really legislate for being hit with two killer goals with the last kick of two successive home games. Hopefully that will be it for the season now. You don`t usually get those unusual cirumstances happen more than a couple of times every 10 years, let alone twice in two games. Never even had time to kick off in either game. Not really sure Jose can have that pinned on him. He can only ask for so much.
