I thought we played quite well for large periods.

There's a lot to like about this team.

Good good stuff.
But man, it breaks the heart when I remember seeing Ravel Morrison.
Was so pumped up for him, was bragging about him. Then, well you know the story

How did Pelli play? Worth the hype? Too early to say?

Did really good for his 1st game. Great potential.
But stand outs with Galbraith, Fernandez. Hannibal I liked for the short time I saw him. And Williams.

tbh I used to watch a lot of youth games to catch a glimpse of future prospect. What happened with ravel and pogba killed that enthusiasm. Another reason I am also a cynic when young players at other clubs are hyped. Yes the may have the technical abilities but if they do not have the right temperament and luck it could be meaningless.

Very true
We forget, or get carried away, when we see the technique, forget they are human. The mental aspect is paramount.

Btw Red Side and Forr - watched the whole game, They might have a better take on it than me.
