Handball

Just watching MoTD.
Seen the most blatant handball not given. It wasn’t intentional but compared to those given against a number of teams this season, I cannot believe it wasn’t given. Was a cross into a flailing arm, with the offending player actually looking at it.
And then I realised it was against Liverpool.

Maybe the refs have had a word and they’re not going to be as harsh? We will see.

Took the knee twice is not mocking or gloating.. right ok.

Not one explanation as to why mane was adjudged offside or why Maguire wasn’t penalised I think there needs to be transparency if there’s one bloke in a room making decisions.

It's not mocking the player and not celebrating the injury,it's reacting to Liverpool fans OTT comments since the incident.

As regards the lack of explanation for the above decisions,it's always been like that so why expect anything different now.

The handball - open to interpretation with the new laws but very clear why it wasn't given as Robertson's arm was down by his side.

The penalty - again, open to interpretation but very clear why it was given... Fabinho took some of the man and some of the ball.

Don't see anything wrong with the officiating yesterday.

Pickford “took the knee twice” is absolutely making a joke of Pickford injuring a player.

I was referring to your game.

But seeing as you asked, I think that is one of those that wouldn't have been overruled by VAR whether he'd given it or not.

It was a bit soft... could easily have been called as a foul but not one to overturn imo.

In my opinion it’s a clear pen. grappling someone around their neck is not what I would call soft.

And you're welcome to that opinion.

I'd say grappling is an exaggeration. He had his arm around him but that was about it.

“Take the knee” “took the knee twice in one game”

These prats are top of the league, but feel so bitter that they have to make jokes about van dijk getting taken out by Pickford rather than enjoy their time at the top of the league.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

So true.

I mean, you never dished out anything all last season when you were sitting pretty, no Sir!

You just sat by at the top of the league not worrying about anyone or anything because you were “living in the now” just absorbing the good vibes; totally in harmony with the world and yourself, taking in every moment.

Sandals even included you in their latest resort holiday adverts.

You owned your time at the top like the seasoned professionals that you are.

Not like these bloody small-minded Everton fans. You’d think they’d not won the league for thirty years the way they are acting.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Let me know what incident of a serious injury I joked or poked fun about last season.

Or rather anything else you took umbrage at.. ?
----------------------------------------------------------------

Hahaha no, I couldn’t do that, for either request.

Ok let’s simplify, did you spend any time, whilst you were at the top of the league, enticing rival fans, instead of enjoying being at the top of the league?

Or did you entice fans whilst enjoying being at the top of the league?
