Wolves head coach Nuno Espirito Santo says several unnamed players are fitness concerns and will be assessed.

Jonny continues his rehabilitation from a long-term knee injury.

Newcastle will make a late decision on goalkeeper Karl Darlow, who is still sore after colliding with Manchester United's Marcus Rashford last weekend.

Isaac Hayden will also be monitored after being forced off with a minor muscle problem, while Sean Longstaff has recovered from tonsillitis.

MATCH FACTS

Head-to-head

Seven of the 10 Premier League meetings have been drawn, with six of those games - including the last three - ending 1-1.
Wolves' last top-flight home win against Newcastle was 1-0 at Molineux in November 1977.
Wolverhampton Wanderers

If Wolves win it would be the first time since 1979 they have claimed at least four victories from their opening six top-flight matches.
They have kept seven clean sheets in their past nine Premier League home games.
Wolves have failed to win any of the last six top-flight matches in which they conceded, last doing so in March's 3-2 victory at Tottenham.
Nuno Espirito Santo's side have failed to score a first-half goal in 33 of their past 45 league games.
However, they have lost just one of their last 20 top-flight fixtures which were level at half-time (W8, D11).
Raul Jimenez has scored the winning goal in 10 Premier League matches since the start of last season, more than any other player prior to the weekend.
Willy Boly is set to play his 100th Premier League game.
Newcastle United

A win would give Newcastle their best start to a Premier League season since 2011, when they took 12 points from their opening six matches.
The Magpies have kept clean sheets in two of their past 13 league games.
Callum Wilson can become the first player to score in each of Newcastle's opening three away matches in a Premier League season.
Wilson has been directly involved in five of his side's seven league goals this term, scoring four and assisting one.

When Fosun took over the club, we were promised a Rolls Royce in 5 to ten years.
We started off with a Fiat ( crappy)
Then we got a Vauxhall (Efficient)
Last year we got a nice Volkswagen (Classier)
This year I was hoping for a BMW ( Smart)
Looks like we have a Ford. (Efficient but dull)

I felt sick when that goal went in last night, as with the others mentioned above, that's how it affects me.

Quite silly to suggest we paid the price for sitting on a lead yesterday. We didn’t take the lead until the 81st minute. We weren’t negative, we had over 60% possession and had 16 shots to their 5. Newcastle meanwhile have been widely slated by the media for their negative approach. They got lucky at the death when the ref gave a free kick for a challenge that was not a foul, we lined the wall up poorly, and they scored with the only shot they had in the second half

Agree it wasn't the sitting back that killed us.

Ironic though that all the talk a week ago is how we controlled Leeds and allowed them no real chances and deserved the win despite a very fortunate deflection from what was frankly a terrible shot despite Leeds opening us up for fun for thirty minutes.

Fast forward to yesterday and a complete role reversal but yet it is still us in control apparently.

Not disputing what you say about possession etc. but as soon as we scored yesterday the mentality changed and we became withdrawn. The shape of the team changed and we went on the back foot.

We didn’t withdraw at all Boston. Throughout the last ten minutes the ball was largely in the Newcastle half and their equaliser was their only shot of the second half, and that came after a long ball to Wilson saw him back into Coady then throw himself to the ground to win a free kick

Brighton did the same yesterday. Dominated, scored, retreated like terrified squirrels. Nuno either instructs them to do this or the players are rebellious.

Either way is not a good look.

Palace will have a field day against our mentality. They will play two banks of five and four, hope not to concede more than one, then smash us with two killer goals at the death as all eleven of our players cower on the goal line.
