Nicholas Pepe

Don’t get me wrong, we have had some shocking signings down the years as I’m sure every club has, but I can’t believe Arsenal payed a record 73 mil fee for this complete waster for me, he’s up there among one of the worse signings of all time when you consider transfer fee and how ineffective he really is. What a rip off

I don’t think he has improved them. Arsenal were winning Fa cups and not getting CL under Wenger. How are they any different from 6/7 years ago? Same old Arsenal.

Didn't some posters on the Spurs board say Arteta was doing a great job, and taking Arsenal forward, whilst Jose was taking Spurs backwards.

Clueless.

Definately worse to watch, think I was just hoping for them to be worse defensively and badly organised but he has got them some kind of identity back too. I like how they have good young players around the squad.

I think because its his first job as a first team coach/ manager at a club like arsenal hes done ok considering. Also won the fa cup last season. No doubt our squad is stronger but there is more to it than that and we need to stay grounded.

Like United, Arsenal lost a long term manager and the decline after that and struggle to get back to where they were at their peak. I expected/hoped them to do worse than this and still getting a trophy last season is depressing.

I don`t care that they nicked the reserve team cup last season. Let`s be fair, teams never put out a strong side until the semi-finals. Spurs are better than Arsenal all over the pitch.

Pretty much other than maybe CB where both teams aren't great.

Surely you'd love an FA cup win though Sandy?

----------------------------------------------------------------------Sandy, you are hilarious. Imagine if we won the FA cup this year. You'd be dining out for weeks on your "Now the dust has settled on our famous FA cup win". You'd be proclaiming that this is the greatest team of all time (except from the proper days of football when everything was in black and white) and there is now no doubt that Spurs will go on to lift every trophy in European football now that we've just won the most prestigious competition in the world.

And imagine if it was Liverpool we beat in the final.....

Of course I would, but in reality we know it is just a squad competition, a reserve team competition up until the semis. I think Spurs have a good chance though of winning it this year.

Sad really that the FA Cup lost its top billing, years back, by the way managers treat it. It used to more prestigious to win the FA Cup than the League back in the day, but the Prem and Sky have ruined most competitions nowadays.
