I notice a lot of opposition supporters

and even some of our own are saying (or hoping) that Spurs won`t stay up near the top of the table, and the next month after the WBA game is a fixture list from hell. Well let`s have a lot at those fixtures and the corresponding results last season

Man City (H) Won
Chelsea (A) Lost
Arsenal (H) Won
Palace (A) Drew
Liverpool (A) Lost
Leicester (H) Won
Wolves (A) Won

So last season from the same seven fixtures Spurs won four, drew one and lost two. 13 points from 21. A really decent return. This season with no crowds being allowed in I expect Spurs to better that total, and replicate all the home wins, win at Palace and grab at least one win at Liverpool or Chelsea. So in reality, no real need to panic, those fixtures don`t actually look any harder than the ones Spurs have already played.

There are no teams in the division that are head and shoulders above any other, all teams are there to be beaten. I still expect Spurs to be up or near the top after those seven games, that will then show that indeed Spurs really mean business this season.

Is a trip to Anfield really any more difficult than a trip to Old Trafford without any crowds?

Fire, pestilence and flood sounds like a standard Saturday evening in Tottenham.

I think more in Liverpool, to be fair. On a scale of 1-10 when measured against Tottenham, I would say Liverpool ranks a 10.

Very high praise from sandy there. Ranks Liverpool as a 10/10.

Cue sandy trying to backtrack and say he meant 10 was a bad thing.

Of course 10 means that Liverpool is infinitely a bigger dump than Tottenham.

As I said, sandy trying to backtrack.

Tottenham is the biggest dump in the Greater London area, a 1/10 as far as everyone outside London knows.

Even you yourself gave Liverpool a 10/10, no use now trying to change your frail old mind.

Yeah, Spurs spent over £1bn building a new toilet bowl of a stadium but it still doesn't raise the profile of the dump it's situated in.

If you want to go the 10 is a big dump route then you must concede that Tottenham is a 1,000.

You can't have it both ways.
