He does seem a muppet at times but can’t see too much wrong with this. Unless Kane carries on at this pace and doesn’t get injured (which on history isn’t likely) then he has a point. But anything can happen.

I think under this jose system, now eriksen has gone, that you rely on Kane a lot more, not sure many of your other strikers or forwards can drop in and play those balls through to son

With Poch you relied less on Kane as the playing style was more important and your pressing was the star player.

With Mourinho it is all about Kane. I don't think you would be the same without him. The difference with us is our playing style is more important than the players. Salah didnt play against Leicester and we still battered them.

do need a plan B that is for sure when Kane isnt available to drop deep and ping balls in behind

Tbh we had the same about VVD, but funnily enough that has gone quiet now.

Kane is excellent though and would be a massive miss, but you appear to have a decent replacement now to cover.

Think Spurs squad is a lot stronger now as it stands it cost more than Liverpools. Still think Kane would be a huge miss because Spurs rely on him not a system. I expect teams to start targeting him now might even see him man marked.

Murphy has always been a miserable cant. Bang average player and voice that can put you in a coma.
