Papa Bouba Diop RIP.

Crazy week for football.

Former Fulham and Portsmouth midfielder Papa Bouba Diop - one of the heroes of Senegal's run to the World Cup quarter-finals in 2002 after scoring the winner in opening game against France - dies aged 42 after long illness.

I met him once when he was at grasshoppers Zurich when they played at Elland Road in Uefa Cup
