They don’t apply the head to head records until the group is finished. Prior to that they just list teams with the same points alphabetically

Just read in the rules that it's after two teams have played each other twice, that's what was confusing.

Basically we're most likely looking at 2nd place if we don't lose to Leipzig

Yeah I had noticed before that most tables never seemed to have the teams tied on points in the right order. Odd but when it’s a small 4 team group with head to head as the first tie breaker, it probably doesn’t make any sense to apply the tie breakers until everyone has finished their matches.

Anyway, hope you lose to Leipzig

If PSG draw and we draw I think we'd win the group as we'd have 7 points from the 'mini league' whereas PSG would have 6 and Leipzig 4.

Think they’re using gd for now until all the head to heads are finished.

It's because out of the games between United, PSG and Leipzig, United still have the best record ahead of PSG on goal difference. It's like a three team mini group.

I’d laugh if the final two group games are a draw. I think we’d top the group due to gd, despite PSG holding the better head to head record with us.

Wait we’d top it due to having 7 points between the three teams. Still, would be funny that in normal circumstances PSG would have the head to head over us if level on points.

Uefa say it’s alphabetical until all of the games in the ‘mini league’ are completed.

It’s just coincidence that alphabetical and goal difference put the teams in the same order
