true they were fortunate over 2 legs, we were wasteful they were clinical it was a smash and grab of the highest order. But theres probably no team or manager better at it on their day.

Tough tie for Chelsea. City get their standard bye.

Thing is on the one side you have a team that's been trying to develop a style of play/fine tune it for over a year (longer if you go back to Sarri) vs. a team who 100% know who they are, how they play & how to execute it in big match occasions.

This is the worst possible draw we could've got IMO, a stylistic clash we really didn't need.

Atletico are favourites just on CL recent history but stop them scoring an away goal and you should go through.

Its all about getting a result over there, Not losing. Thats what killed us. We battered them at anfield and if it wasnt for adrian throwing them the initiative I think we wouldve won comfortably in the end as they were dead on their feet until that moment.

Their home record in europe is outstanding. Could make a massive difference if fans are still a no go come feb.

Cant deny yous have drawn a stinker, the 1 I didnt want for us but that being said they did not impress me last year as much as I thought they would.

I must also say, that this is the team I wanted us to avoid.
Quite apart from Costa,who will want to through his weight around,we will also have serial diver Suarez ,and Felix to try and shackle !
Am expecting that anything, might/could happen over these two games !

Atletico aren’t the team they used to be. With at least some of our attacking line-up fit we should beat them IMO

Especially when one team has perfected their style and the other's style is a work in progress

If our games agst Spurs, United and Everton tell us anything its that we didn't want to draw AM.
