Ok the title is a play on words, but I have said the biggest gamechanger this gen is the SSD, but not just the SSD, the high throughput Sony have also made sure supports it.
This is an interview where Epic talk a little bit more about the tech in Unreal 5, and it is the SSD that was key to making it happen.

I found it an interesting read, Sony made sure to support Epics vision with the PS5's hardware, making sure not just to have a fast SSD, but the bandwidth required to get that data not just where it was needed, but more importantly when it was needed.
GPU's and CPU's are important factors. But the ability to stream in massive amounts of data is what will really define this gen, it really is game changing.
Sony were very smart to focus and build the PS5 around not just an SSD. but the fastest SSD possible.

Yeah its ok but the constant crashes definitely put a downer on it for me. The latest updates have improved it but still getting the occasional crash

It’s a huge game and the mistake CDPR made was being naive to think a system over 7 years old could handle such a size.
I’ve put it on the side for now and I’m playing Watchdogs : Legion which is good fun. I hadn’t played the previous Wd games so I am new to the series, plus I’m loving the London design and detail.
Plus I’m busy with Dark Souls 3 as well. Pontiff Sulyvahn keeps on killing me

Raptor, two bits of advice for the Pontiff:
1. If you can parry, you can make the fight trivial. I was never great at parrying on DS3, however, so used the below and beat him a on both playthroughs with only one or two deaths.
2) Strafe left! Stay close to him and continually strafe left (remembering to lower your shield when safe to do so to regen stamina) and find your windows to attack his booty / side.
Another good piece of advice is that, when he spawns his ghostly double in the second phase, don’t kill it as it shows you the exact attack he’s about to do 1-2 seconds in advance, making the real Pontiff’s attacks easier to dodge.

He was an utter bassstard toughest boss I faced, reckon about 40+ attempts with help to nail him. I think you can get a npc to help and a mate which makes it miles easier, still damn hard though. 2 fast hits, or 1 heavy, roll sideways, back, repeat something like that. Cracking game that

Just this second beat the caaaant
My left hand is shaken to shiiit because of all the parrying and doing circles around him with L3
Very hard boss. Took me an age to get his HP down to 50%. Second part was easier as you could do some serious damage to him while he spawns his double.

Reckon that was around my 50th attempt and i think it took me well over 30 attempts to get to the 2nd part.

Think that one only took me three or four attempts - mind you that was mainly because I summoned some human players for help and let them do most the work
