Jack Marriott

He divides opinion. But his future is up for discussion by mid January latest. Do we keep him ? Do Sheffield W want him back. Sheff of course are Managerless at the moment - so will they have a deciding opinion on him ?

For me he should stay. We have a massive shortage up front at the moment and tbh cant see that along with the clubs in this division who dont get parachute payments - cant see how we can afford to bring in anyone else - without selling off our family jewels.

Jack has scored some goals in the past - but needs service...he cant score goals if he doesn't get it can he.....

Jacks another poor signing. Lazy, unfit and poor attitude. Gone backwards in performance not good enough for championship. Get rid.
Tom Ince another whose attitude stinks unlikely to hit double figures in a season again. Not on your nelly.

Maybe it feels like it’s the majority because the haters voice their opinions a bit more often.

I don't know what you mean!

Tom Ince is hated at Stoke it seems, I was speaking to a Stoke fan this morning and he hopes he leaves as he has been so poor. I think most fans like to see maximum effort from their players, then they are well liked, Bucko is a good example.

Id take Ince on loan with a view to permanent, he'd get more game time than at Stoke and what an incentive to to put maximum effort in, if he doesn't he has to go back to Stoke

I don't agree with signing proven Championship grafters this month
I'd be looking to sign players with one eye on next season instead of upheaving the whole squad again in June

It would be nice to have a squad ready to go when they return for pre-season with just maybe 2/3 additions

And Buxton cost Derby the goal that came from his mistake.

The problem with Tom Ince is he's always been about Tom Ince.

His style of play tends to make those around him look worse, as he doesn't bring them into play, and if what he's trying to do doesn't come off, it ends up costing the team and frustrating everybody else.

Fans start to see this in the body language of the players around him as the players get frustrated and the hate towards him builds over time.

Lawrence is similar in that sense, although I'd happily do a swap, at least on his day Ince can perform.

Darren Anderton was quite a good player Scouse, when he was fit.

I also read somewhere that Darren Anderton wasn't the 'sicknote' as portrayed by the tabloids and was relatively injury free.

I'd forgotten about Darren Anderton till Scouse mentioned him, but I thought that he was always injured and was called Sicknote. Maybe I'm wrong!

I don't know what to think about Marriott these days, but I will always remember with delight what he did to Leeds that night, wonderful.

Missed most of the 1995-96 and 1997-98 seasons through injury.
