I know certain supporters are turning their nose up at this competition which completely baffles me if I’m going to be honest. We have no right as Spurs fans to be turning our nose up at any trophy, when we have won the square route of f** all pretty much our whole premier league existence. Massive game tonight and huge opportunity to make a domestic cup final. Big possibility the cup final will played in front of supporters, hence why the FA moved dates, so there is so much riding on this, but most importantly getting this horrendous monkey off our backs. The baron spell of 0 trophies is becoming far to predictable now and a club of our size should be putting away more silverware. Time to end this now. Get this lot to the final Jose!!!! COYS!!!

I was at Wembley the last time Utd beat us in the league cup final. Be nice for some revenge but lets beat Brentford first.

I was at the Fa cup semi final v United at Wembley when Mourinho did a number on us. I was also at the league cup final v Chelsea at Wembley when Mourinho did a number on us again. Let’s just hope he brings that mentality to Spurs in this competition

Sorry, I thought I put premier league history. Didn’t mean history literally. I’m talking of during the Prem era and more importantly, since Spurs have been an established European side. No manager has achieved top 4 and a trophy in the same season.

My point still stands, Jose winning any trophy and getting Top 4 in the same season will be a fantastic achievement

The United semi we played poorly, but Valencia was let off a clear second yellow card with the game at 1-0 and around 30 mins to go. Who knows what may have happened if we had a man advantage second half, but once again a referee gave Penited the benefit of doubt.
