News out this morning saying that Rashford was told to be more savvy in the box by Jose during his time here. He said: "Jose said, 'if you're not savvy about the way you do it, then you are not going to get given it'."
"When you are making runs in behind or you are dribbling with the ball and you see a challenge coming, you don't want to get tackled because you are looking at an opportunity to score a goal," said Rashford, who won the Football Writers' Association 2021 Tribute Award on Thursday.
"But there have been times when we have probably not got penalties.
"When Jose was manager, there were five or six times I can remember where I should have had a penalty."

I'm sure many top managers do tell their players to be savy in the box. They're now using mind games to try and influence refs into not giving us any penalties.

Tbf, I didn't even mention anything in my original comment about exaggerating the contact anyway so idk why it's suddenly got here.
I originally said if the player can see somebody could potentially foul them then they will go down or win a free kick. It's not deceiving the referee if they can see they are going to get taken out and then they win the free kick because they turn away and get clattered.
Sorry if you thought I was talking about players who attempt to deceive the referee, that's not what I meant.
