Variety...

Callum Hudson-Odoi:
‘As a dribbler, I love to receive the ball as quickly as possible and try to do what I need to do to get past the defender. But it’s not always about dribbling, sometimes it’s about opening up the game, finding a pass quickly inside and creating space for everyone else.

‘You want to be unpredictable, you don’t want every defender to know exactly what you’re going to do as soon as you get on the ball. I like to change it up, play one-twos, switch the play, even if it’s driving with the ball inside and creating a chance from there. I just try to find different ways, a variety of different plays to get through to goal.’

'I want to keep working hard and learning every day. I want to keep educating myself whether it’s at home watching clips or just learning under the manager. He knows what to do and he knows what is right for me and how to play so I want to keep learning under him and working hard.'

That variety & unpredictably is precisely what sets wonderkid Callum Hudson-Odoi apart from the rest...he's not your typical run-of-the-mill one-dimensional PL wide attacker like Adama Traore, Dan James, Townsend, St-Maximin, Walcott etc...

The above qualities also separates him from our current attackers...many strings to Cal's bow and repertoire (that are essential in breaking-down low compact sides).
Notable decision-making, depth, variation and angles to his final third play which is unmatched (includes Pulisic).
Pulisic often plays with tunnel-vision, there is actually a real inability to see anything beyond a 20-yard radius of him when he's in possession of the ball...
That's his main limitation, anyone with a brain and is eagle-eyed can see that.

That limitation is why Pulisic struggles on the right and Hudson-Odoi comfortably performs on that side, latter has greater vision, (spatial) awareness of the full pitch which makes up for the lack of angles being on the right causes (doesn't play with tunnel-vision).
By far...our most talented multi-dimensional attacker. Cream of the crop!

'Tis why Hudson-Odoi was rightly fast-tracked into first-team squad (without loan).
Rightly fast-tracked into senior international squad.
Also the reason why this unique generational talent is highly coveted by Bayern (to extent that they were trying to cajole him with the iconic number 10 shirt & break the bank. Went for broke in attempts to sign him, but ultimately failed)

Just going to add...

Last paragraph (in bold) the most pertinent point of all, stark contrast to the way the predecessor grossly mismanaged and screwed him over (which led to transfer request & eventually only playing him by force).
Frank reigns supreme at dealing with players on a player & human-level, thus able to get a tune out of them.
Youth will run through brick walls for Frank and rightly so...eliminated the pathway barriers between first-team & academy, giving them opportunities that they deserve which the predecessors wouldn't have the cojones or foresight to do. Empowers them.

Moving onto the metrics..

Of course the high-quality underlying (advanced) metrics show and confirm what I've already known and see...Phenomenal Super!

Highlights his extraordinary ability & footballing IQ excellence...which is off the charts. Mr. outlier is a different breed.
Give him more responsibility now and he'll thrive. There is no limit to his game, he can do everything.

Huge player, that has gone through quite a lot of mental challenges in his short career and has come through it with flying colours.
Tremendous mental fortitude & capacity.
100m+ potential player that Bayern tried to steal at a quarter of the fee

That's him at the tender age of 16 (without injuries) being the of the show...coupled with smart pressing as a striker & wide up against experienced players in their mid to late 20s, toying with them! (James & Ampadu were also in the lineup)
