Not a knee-jerk, been saying for over a year now that Bukayo Saka is the business at Arsenal. For a kid so young, his touch, vision and awareness of space around him is brilliant. He looks like he was born with a ball at his feet and for me is one of my favourite players to watch in the entire league. There's a magical X Factor about him when he's on the ball, he can beat a man but he can also pass it and create chances.
Could he solve our issue at RW? Before people scream at me that he isn't necessarily a right sided attacking player, I disagree on the basis that he would be young enough to learn the position and be brilliant at it. He has played down the right at Arsenal before and even his goal last night was from a right sided position, coming in off that side to the middle.
He would be a hell of a lot cheaper than the overrated Sancho and already knows the hustle and bustle of this league. In terms of feasibility, we would (IMO) be able to bully Arsenal into selling him as per usual. I think anything from about 60 million would do it and he'd be a revelation.

Saka looks like a solid player. The other kid too early to say. But supporting United sometimes seems like one long game of 'who will we buy' fantasy football.

Surely the new lad Smith Rowe would be the one YOU would class as a hidden gem given he's only broke into the arsenal team a couple of months ago
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Smith-Rowe has been talked up for a while, but only produced recently and that could be a purple patch.
Saka has been class for Arsenal for nearly 2 years.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ffs Robb if as you say he’s been class for 2 years how does that mean he’s a hidden gem
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because for 2 years he's been brilliant, last 6+ months Arsenal's best player, but nobody really talks about him. He's one of the best in the league.
I am not Robb.

It actually makes no difference whether offline you are 'the Robb' or not.
As this is an anonymous forum, if you're indistinguishable from Robb the User, you're interchangeable, and if you're interchangeable then by the ontological principle of the Identity of Indiscernibles you are actually one and the same. You become Robb the User. You *are* Robb.
22k+ users appearing on the United board are almost exclusively Robb or RDD (with a few notable exceptions). Whether they are the same two individual offline or not is irrelevant.

You'd have to offer stupid money that no club would pay. He's a fan of the club, come through the academy, playing with his mates that he's grown up with and signed a new contract at the end of last season.

I didn't know the back story behind Saka but since that's the case, this thread is pointless unless Arsenal is dire financial state or relegated.
Tuned into the Dortmund/Leverkusen match and this Moussa Diaby is wrecking shop on the right flank. Just a name to throw out there

How about Ed offers you £30m less than you ask for and waits until deadline day to negotiate? Might not leave him enough time to identify alternative targets, but that's how we roll.
