Picked up a copy of his autobiography recently and am excited to read it. I remember so fondly when Jansen was doing the business for you guys, he was a top striker who I thought would have a brilliant career for club and country. What happened to him that summer was a tragedy for so many reasons, both personal and footballing wise.
I will post a review when i'm done but in my opinion, the best football autobiographies are written by players who didn't have brilliant careers. Flawed geniuses for example and whilst Jansen wasn't flawed, I bet he has a great story to tell about what maybe could have been.

Really liked Jansen. Such a shame what happened to him and his career. Obviously lucky to still be around though.
We've had more than enough players at Arsenal not able to fulfil their potential due to injuries - too many to mention tbh - but Jansen, Dean Ashton and Enrico Chiesa were all players of rival clubs I was really sad to see injuries blight, and eventually end, their playing careers.

Yeah I really, really rated Dean Ashton I loved watching him play. Gutted when he retired.
I always wonder what would have happened with Eduardo if he didn't get injured vs Birmingham.
