City

This is City’s starting eleven and their bench.
XI | Ederson, Walker, Dias, Laporte, Cancelo, Rodrigo, Mahrez, Bernardo, Foden, Sterling (C), Jesus

SUBS | Steffen, Stones, Aguero, Zinchenko, De Bruyne, Torres, Mendy, Fernandinho, Garcia

Most of the players on that bench are international players who will walk into any side in the PL and most sides in the CL. If ever anyone is in doubt about why we are behind them, there is your answer. It also demonstrates how good we have been last two seasons to compete with them and even overtake them. Any Liverpool fan moaning about us should remember that we are competing against unfair opposition where normal rules do not apply. We are run like a business, City is a plaything of some billionaires - uneven contest!!

Far from me being in any way an apologist for Man U, their success has been built over a number of years starting with the Busby babes and them playing a brand of football that got the neutrals excited. Their spending power comes from their history and their successes over decades same as Liverpool and Arsenal to a certain extent whereas City is a plastic club built by petrol money. The fact that they had loads of matches where there were plenty of empty spaces compared to United/pool who could have sold double the number of tickets, really demonstrate the class divide between the Petro clubs and real football clubs!

Cool story.

KevinLFC, your last post was just pitiful. All it missed was a comment about soul and you’d have had pretty much a full house of ignorant comments.

Kevin obviously hasn't heard of how the Moores family transformed Liverpool back in the 60's.

Anfield was empty after Everton moved to Goodison, Liverpool FC were formed to make use of it.

You (and Chelsea) are the original manufactured clubs.
