The UTD way

This ain't it

None, everyone has realised that apart from RDD. Doesn’t mean the manager shouldn’t be removed.

Utd look absolutely knackered, which they will after 4 games in 12 days and more football played than most.

Greenwood 'chance' where he curled it over at the end came from McT running beyond him and tbf that doesnt happen enough at Utd and that is coaching (and pretty easily fixed if the manager allows).

I don't think some of the players are very good either so that doesn't help.

Finished last season later and started later too didn't they?

Ole sides do tend to wear out after a good run.

Problem is we have a lot of games where we play shiiiiiit football like this. We just aren’t a very well coached side. So when we are tired we are absolute shiiiiiit as we cannot rely on our forwards bailing us out.

Yeah, agree.

Strikers goals have dried up and the team isn't set up to get goals from anywhere else bar Bruno (who looked completely spent tonight).

It’s set up to get goals from Rashford as well. Both are struggling and we look toothless when they aren’t on it.

Yeah I was clashing Rashford as a striker, which he isnt really tbf. He really does look tired and his touch has gone to sh!t.

Cavani had 23 touches tonight and Utd brought on Dan James for him. Work needed on the squad there I feel!

James should have scored though. Henderson made a decent save at the end too. Fine margins tonight.

Ah gotcha.

Yeah there’s still a lot of work needed on the squad, which is why I’ve not bought into the crap about how Ole’s got us in a much better position to compete for the biggest prizes, it’s still as far off as it was under Mourinho, arguably more so when you consider the senior squad depth we had under him (they tend to make more valuable contributions to title winning teams that talented teenagers).

Fine margins is a phrase many have used all season. That’s the problem, it’s indicative of poor performances. The results are starting to reflect the performances, for a lot of the season that wasn’t really the case as we were scraping wins in games we played shiiiiit.

I did predict a fair while ago that I thought Utd would run out of steam. 20 mins to go and they were virtually at walking pace tonight which looks ominous given the fixture list.

The Milan tie looks great on paper but I suspect it'll be a drab affair from both sides, and an energy sapper to boot.

Winnable competition this season though with some good sides already out.

Yeah we have played a lot of football without much rest the last two seasons. So it’s not helping.
