Decent three points today, with a poor

performance, but managed to get over the line for once and keep a clean sheet. Cannot believe Spurs won the game with Davies, Doherty and Sissoko all on the pitch at the same time. But hey ho, sometimes they surprise us.

The dilemma for Jose is pretty simple as was showed today, take out your best two full backs for starters, and the performance levels immediately go down. Spurs strongest team wins more than they lose of the remaining games, and Aurier and Reggie are badly needed back for Sunday, against Palace.

I would be inclined to play the strongest defence now, no tinkering or rotation, players will have to go through the pain barrier for the cause. Plenty of attacking options that can be rotated, but the defence is pretty poor when two of of the best players are left out, and has to be set in stone for the next two months.

Jose just needs to get the defence settled, and I think the rest of the team takes care of itself.

Oh and Kane needs to start putting away these sitters he seems to be regularly missing these days. Still a great scorer, but he is missing goals now, he wouldn`t have two or three seasons ago. I think he has forgotten the position he is actually supposed to be playing.

Anyway, could be worse Liverpool are on course to lose their 5th Prem home game in a row.

Could you imagine the meltdown if Spurs lost five home games in a row.

Fans would accept a terrible run if youd just won the CL and Prem but you haven't so........

Last season and the season before count for diddly squat this season.

Nonsense. Trophies buy a Manager and players time. Hence why Klopp won't get sacked this season and probably why Arteta kept his job whilst Lampard lost his.

You'd be hard pushed to find two worse full backs than Doherty and Davies. Jose tends to like them as they're supposed to be more defensively sound but whilst that might be true, playing Aurier and Reggy means the whole defensive line can push another 20 yards up the field. For me, that's more expansive and it means less pressure on our goal. In effect, playing our more attacking full backs is strangely the safest option.

Fulham are a good team scrapping for their lives (similar to Brighton, they wouldn't be where they are if they had a decent striker) but that second half performance was absolutely woeful, I think the whole performance was and no own goal is going to change that. We won last night for one reason and one reason only... good fortune.

Chelsea have sacked every manager fairly quickly after they had won trophies. Ranieri got the sack less than a year after winning Leicester their first ever major competition in their history. So nonsense really to say trophies keep you in a job, they clearly don`t.

Dan Arsenal is completely right. If you win what Klopp has won for Liverpool it gives you credit in the bank with the owners and fans. They know they've got a gem and it's about seeing this sticky patch through. If you don't win anything, play poorly quite often and THEN lose 5 home games on the bounce then of course we'd have a major problem with it. Maybe your argument will hold up Sandy when Jose wins us the CL and League

Truth is Fulham deserved to get something from this game.......
and we lucked out for once.
Not a confidence building experience at all.
Something has to happen with the back four.
How about playing Ndombele at CB when Lo Celso comes back?
Sorry, but I can't think of anything else................
you wouldn't want Sissoko there, would you?
And Sanchez ...
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Sanchez was probably our MoM last night and superb against Burnley also.

One Swallow doesn't make a spring, but makes such a difference have Toby alongside him.

I can't believe we've brought in a right back who makes Aurier look good.

Nah, Liverpool finish out if the CL positions, and Klopp will come under pressure, no matter what he has won.

We should be thankful we have Aurier. Don you were getting excited over Doherty coming in. Always remember not every player is better than what we already have. Aurier has had a very decent season.

Ranieri had lots of credit in the bank, didn't stop him getting sacked.
