ANY handball leading to a goal will be disallowed, however deliberate/obvious etc.

It has been like this all season and is black and white. If you ask me its the least controversial and most easily understood and applied part of the handball rule. If it hits your arm in the build up to a goal then its handball. Simple.

It’s not VAR or the referees fault, that is the law. You can’t compare to the Kante or the Hudson Odoi one as defensive vs attacking handball have different rules.

His arm gave the assist and that's why any handball leading to a goal is given as handball because it has a big impact - ie. leads to a goal!

It is handball. The rule is just dumb.

why the fack are they changing rules mid season? It's literally making past football games who've had results affected by that changed rule more infuriating for fans and managers.

Yeah it is a bit unfair. The rule is absolutely stupid, but it’s one that everyone should have to put up with across a season.

Hypothetically, Fulham could get relegated because Brighton or Newcastle score a goal under the same circumstances and it now counts.
