Anyone else missing

The pressure, stress, anxiety of trying to get promotion. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

It doesn’t feel right to be having a pressure free season

We've got players coming back so should get stronger!..

Have to try and see how many of the so called top 6 we can put in place, it seems the top 6 ain't going to finish top 6!..

Would be nice to finish in the top 10 this season.

Puts into perspective that Crystal Palace have finished no higher than 10th in their time in the Premier League and we're looking around the same level in our first season back. They have had plenty of income over that time to build their club. Hopefully we'll be spending our money wisely.

I think it's all about the ambitions of our club - they are happy to sit around the middle or just survive. While that's sustainable, I think Leeds fans will have higher expectations. I know I have.

Spare a thought for West Brom and Fulham fans who might not even get to see their teams in the flesh this season having gained promotion and could well be back in the Championship when things get back to normal!

Just to be clear, by 'they' I meant Palace, not our club!

I really hope Fulham stay up.

To me there is just something likeable about the way they have just sort of plucked away at that gap and closed it down to where it is.

aAlso if they stay up then newcastle go down... Bruce and Ashley and all that

Fulham have really impressed me, they looked doomed after the first few weeks but massively improved. Made some good signings too in Lookman and Maja looks a player. Wonder what has happen with Mitrovic over there? He's barely done anything, if he was firing, they might be doing better.

Some clubs just deserve to go down and Newcastle are one of those. Managed so poorly from top to bottom, just miserable.

No, not missing the ups and downs chasing promotion in the past two seasons at all. We wont get the same highs again for some time but every single game we play this season as its own importance in helping us progress back to where we want to be eventually.
Glad to see the back of the Championship. Might feel different if we become a mid-table Prem club season in season out but right now just loving each and every game and hoping we can crawl as high as possible in the league. We could still finish as high as 9th imho.
Relaxed in terms of relegation at present. Would take a pretty dramatic turn of fortunes to end up 18th. We certainly wont finish any lower.

We aren't safe by a long way!

We lose three in a row and Fulham win three and they are breathing down our necks! Then the pressure can get to the players.

Fulham are playing far better than their position shows. A bit of good fortune and they will win a few games yet.

Hopefully though the other teams, like Newcastle, Southampton and Palace, won't all get better at the same time.

I think we could be safe but I wouldn't put my house on it yet.

Even if Fulham go on a ridiculous run (which I doubt) between now and the end of the season, so many of the teams just above them look so devoid of positivity at the moment. I don't see 2 of them catching us, let alone 4 or 5.

Yep, looking at it realistically we are safe. Lose a few in a row and I’ll start to panic.

I just want us to get over that invisible line ASAP so I can relax.

still not safe for me and if you look at our next few fixtures i am struggling to see a win. Away in london to west sham, a revitalised fulham, chelsea with a proper manager and not forgetting city, sucm and bindippers. think southampton in there as well and they are struggling but at this time of the year teams at the bottom fight for everything so no im still stressed. Teams below us keep dropping points and we get a win anywhere i will relax more and enjoy the rest of the season

This is so me .... think we’re safe, I just can’t relax until the maths means I can. Tough fixtures in coming weeks.

Yes - No chance of feeling totally relaxed until we are mathematically safe.
