The hapless Arsene Wenger and his coaches led poor Yaya SoNoGoals to believe he was really good, so his spiral down must have been tough on him. It was obvious to the fan base from day one (and everybody else outside the Wenger coaching staff) that he wasn’t up to it - ‘Bambi on ice’ was his nickname...😳.
An honest hard working strong likeable lad with extremely limited ability on the ball who couldn’t be relied on to hit a barn door - and sadly a tendency to be injury prone.
He has bounced around a few lower clubs (& notably Toulouse) before being discarded and has just been picked up by Huddersfield as a free agent.
He played tonight and took a penalty - which of course he missed...😐

Sanogo upfront
Gus Ceaser in defence -A defender remembered for pretty much the same reasons as Sanogo but defensively. In 1988 he became a legend amongst Luton Supporters for assisting them getting the winner in the League Cup Final.
Sanogo and Ceaser - Arsenal legends for other clubs
