It's that nostalgic time of year again, April and the Masters. Was a bit strange having last years one in November with no spectators so good to see it back again so soon at the right time, this time with some spectators there!
Who's watching? Weekend set and hopefully my bets run into the weekend. What's everyone betting? I've gone for...
Justin Thomas, tenner at 11/1 outright winner
Patrick Reed, fiver e/w at 28/1
Robert Macintyre, 2.50 e/w at 125/1
As long as nobody runs away with it this time(unless one of my bets) I'll be happy. Nothing like a Sunday evening tuned right into the masters.
Bring it on!
The Masters

Actually maybe not a yank - I saw her last might and seeing she was there assumed she was a sherman and seeing she is based there maybe her accent is half and half..?

Which one, CT - the brit or the yank?

Apparently, nobody knows her 'status' - a very private girl...?

Rose and Speith doing well. With the 80/1 outright winner odds that I got then I prefer Rose to win.

Would prefer Rose to win it as well
I'm not sure leading suits him though , I think he's a better player when he's less conservative

Got £40 back for Reed e/w bet but I'm still reeling from my Rob Macintyre e/w bet....skybet paying 11 places and him finishing 12th, 1 shot off He was 9th aswell with 3 holes to play then bogeyed 16 and 17 the margins are so fine....missed a 60 ft birdie putt on 16 by an inch and it rolls 4 ft past then misses the par putt. Some effort from him though.....think that's the last time he'll be 125/1 for a good while anyway, gonna be a top player!
My outright bet on Justin Thomas was looking good on Saturday....he'd got to within 1 of the lead early doors in his 3rd round then just could not hole anything......and then had a complete meltdown triple bogeying a par 5 chucked it from there.
Can't believe how close it finished....I turned off aftrer Macintyre finished as Matsuyama was 4 ahead with 4 to play and looking inevitable. The whole day had been a bit of an anti climax up until that last few holes that I missed

You missed a good end, such fine margins as you say.
I got my £40 e/w place for Reed. Barely saw anything of him the whole tournament just went about his business and into the top 10 comfortably, safe bet e/w bet at those odds
Had Speith outright, don’t really like him though tbh and regretted backing him as I still found myself struggling to want him to win

I usually go to my kip at 11 so thought no point staying up as I had no interest left and the day had been an anti climax.....seems I missed a panic filled finish from Matsuyama
Yeah, I always bet Reed, he's always in and around. If it wasn't for a poor 2nd round he'd have been right in the mix.
Rose will be gutted after leading for so long, right up until midway through 3rd round. Just couldn't get anything going on the greens over the weekend.
Buzzing for the Ryder Cup this year, gonna be a cracker!
