Tammy

With him struggling for minutes and his contract situation not looking like being resolved any time soon whats your gut feeling? Personally I think he leaves in the summer and gets a decent Premier league move and does well elsewhere next season. I like Tammy as a player but I still feel as a top top club we need slightly better so if we can get a good fee I'll be happy as I think it benefits everyone involved

I keep waiting for Tammy to bulk up, and when he does, then he'll be the business - a far bigger threat.
But maybe he'll always have his spindly build, just like Crouch.

I think he has an intelligent game, but just needs to be that bit stronger.

Also, in the youth team he was a deadly poacher, but he seems to have lost a lot of that instinct - you rarely see him in the right place in the 6 yard box.

I think his upper body strength is his Achilles heel bloo, for his size, as a striker he needs to be much harder to out muscle in aerial duals!

yet he seems to have forged a niche as a Cult hero with a section of our fans
------------------------------------------------------
Chelsea fans determined to be seen as the ones who didn't underestimate Giroud, and I believe it's worked

Plus those "OMG, I can't believe how close that was" faces whenever he misses any chance are hilarious
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I still like him Dev but I only ever have viewed him as a 'Super sub'. I find when he starts, he's mostly on the periphery of the game and has no obvious impact on play!

I'm still waiting for Tammy to develop into the Preying Mantis that I think he will become one day, at the moment he is still a stick insect...If you know what I mean !

Never seen Tammy as good enough....was brilliant in the Championship as you'd expect, & got us out of a bit of hole when we had little better (Bats etc)

Can't stay on his feet, isn't strong enough, doesn't anticipated quick enough...needs to be moved on for me

I'm not a fan of Giroud. The biggest myth with him is creating for others. No assists this season in the Premier League. Grateful for his goal vAtletico and Seville B but ultimately a sub.

I like him Bov, think he's a consumate professional and handy in the squad if we want to play long, high balls into the opposition penalty area to try and sneak a goal.

However, like you, I can never understand this myth about him creating for others. I always know I'm winning a debate when all someone can throw as a case for the defence that, "Their hold up play is really good!"

A regular 1st team player needs to offer a lot more than being able to hold the ball up well!!

Was brilliant in the Europa when we won it but ultimately is just getting past it now... Solid top quality professional though

It wouldn't do any harm to watch videos of Cavani's movement. Its an area I think tgat Tammy can improve on a lot.

Yeah, his movement in and around the box is text book stuff, he makes it look so easy as well.
