Alioski

Is he leaving in the summer?

Don?

I know he drives some people up the wall.
I personally like him. Always have.
Keep reading conflicting articles about him
going and the odd one that he's staying.

Fact is, Gianni has been playing out of position for three years but is one of our most regular performers. Why? He doesn't get injured, he buys into Bielsaball, and he is Leeds through and through. He is not the perfect defender but he is the kind of player who we will miss when he is gone.
And by the way, he was bluddy good at left back against City last week.

Kern - one of the funniest things i ever saw at ER was Beckham being chased by Harte it looked like they were running in treacle multiply that twenty times and that would be me and Alioski,
Seriously Granada wanted to sign him in January and i was told he wanted to go so i would say hes fairly certain to leave

Think it says a lot about how the guy is viewed that everyone understands he is probably at the end of his usefulness as a first teamer for us so are okay for him to leave.

Yet everyone is also "yeah but if he does go he better find somewhere who will pay him bucket loads of cash"

He was very good at city.

He hasn't really been played out of position though... was a career left back before being converted to a winger by previous club. We've played him as both.

Like most, I've always liked his energy, effort and enthusiasm, but lack of pace blunts his effectiveness at both ends of the pitch.

Like everyone else, wish him all the best.
I've enjoyed watching him. Glad he was with
us during an amazing time.

Noticed a few fans on here constantly talking about players playing out of position on here. Have to say a lot of it as a load of rubbish.

It's interesting that no one mentions Phillips is playing out of position?

Alioski has played better as a left back for us than he does as a winger. So how could he possibly be out of position?

Same goes for Dallas, should we be playing him as a winger because that's the label he was given before he was at Leeds.

Struijk is the only player that has had to play out of position for more than the odd game this season.

Alioski isn't playing out of position. He plays LB for
Macedonian and did so before he joined us. But,
to Faith's point, GA also plays winger/midfield.

MB's squad is full of players who can play multiple
positions. Very high IQ players. That's what he looks
for and what he has currently.

Dallas being the Albert Einstein of football.

And as Kern says, its a Bielsa thing playing players in more positions than their original, he's always done it!..
