So the same side that lost to Leeds rewarded again to play a knockout match against Chelsea!
And this team managed one shot on goal!
Same tactics

Just can't fathom why he didn't hook him and put Mahrez and/or Bernardo on for the last 15 minutes.
Sterling didn't play that badly but no way should he have been on there for 90 minutes.

Had a real heavy touch today Sterling. Couple decent runs. Hasn’t really been on it since that Gomez incident?!
Sadly had to rest a fair few given the intensity of wednesdays game. But agree subs could have been utilised better given how little we created

You aren't even your owners favourite franchise.
That must hurt.

Yes because we crave affection
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You obviously do, I've not seen the United board as avtive for weeks.

👏
Not even played today and their trying to gain some relevance to our season 😂

Maybe now Pepe will realise that he is not Divine and will now concentrate on winning the PL by putting his best lineup on the pitch for every game? The PL title race is not over just yet, and just imagine the horror if United were to snatch it from City on the last day of the season!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yesterdays match was not a premier league match and he rotated precisely so that we can have fresh legs for the Astonvilla PL match midweek.
April was always going to be a difficult month with so many crucial games twice a week. We got through March to put us in a position to see out the remainder of the season without pressure.
Some say its a good thing, other say its a bad thing. But as a football club we have experienced both. Liverpool ran us close to the 2019 league season which meant we remained focused and motivated to win 2 domestic competitions.
This season united bottled it in February so we had to firm our position in March, cast our sight on our main prize which is the CL and obviously cups like the FA Cup and League cup can be lost.
I would be gased if we win the CL and PL this season. You can win the domestic cups, oh wait

Regarding the OP I disagree with pretty much everything you said. The tactics are what it is and why we are where we are.
We could be a bit more direct etc but it doesnt gurantee much when our attack is lacking goals. See liverpool against Madrid the other day.
The patient approach has served us well and Pep has managed the side to near perfection this season. Losses like yesterdays happen. See how Arsenal beat us in the semi's last season.
The team that was selected must be good enough to win yesterdays match and most of those players were rested. Perfect tactics from Pep. Probably shouldnt have played KDB given his recent workload but the team has proved they can perform without him.
We have obvious issues and that has nothing to do with Pep and tactics. We have an attack thats woefully out of form, pretty much like Liverpools. The difference is Pep has managed to adjust things slightly and has had the fortune of few injuries. Klopp hasnt hence it has all fallen apart for him.
we need to go back to not conceding goals anymore. Thats literally where we need to refocus our game. Our attack is mince this season. Thats just a fact

Another lacklustre performance why didnt Sterling and Torres attack down the flanks, they never looked like getting the ball or doing anything with it
Rodri and Fernandinho didnt work, and the ref was kind to Fernandinho, on more than one occasion
If you cant play well then at least work or battle ,Torres didnt do nearly enough to help Cancelo deal with Chelsea down the left flank

This.
After 2 and a bit days of rest we should send out the same team as the dortmund team? Look at KDB. We’re lucky he didn’t suffer a more serious injury.
