Pre-Season Tour

It looks a bit different this summer....

Derby County v Manchester United, Pride Park
Sunday 18 July

QPR v Manchester United, Loftus Road
Saturday 24 July

Manchester United v Brentford, Old Trafford
Wednesday 28 July

Manchester United v Everton, Old Trafford
Saturday 7 August

But still better than last summer's pre-season. Let's hope it is enough to get them to hit the ground running this time.

An away derby, Merseyside rivals at home and big London clubs home and away.

I am planning a pre-season tour of Banbury. Despite living here for over two years there are a couple of pubs that have not yet had the pleasure of my custom.
Hopefully the company that runs The Cherwell pub in Banbury will wise-up and dispense with services of their despised manageress who banned me because I didn"t follow the newly laid footprints on my way to the bar. That would bring a big cheer from past and present sraff. I had not even noticed them and took the direct route to the bar and was told to go back out and follow the marked route otherwise I would not be served. To have been told this by a sloven wearing a dirty grey track suit was a poor advert fot the company.
The Wheatsheaf and The Bell, properly and courteously managed, have since profited from my custom.

Are the Glazers aware of this gross miscarriage of justice?

Yes, our start to the season last year cost us big time. Bruno and Pogba will be big misses at the start of the season.

Hopefully Martial starts the season running as we will need him a lot more than usual. Also keen to see where Amad eventually plays.

makes sense given the hectic season, covid and the euros. The goal of pre-season is to get players fit and in tune, not to prance about press events
