Respect for Red Bull gone

I have always thought the Red Bull F1 team to be exemplary on an off the track, but I have just read that they have now hired lawyers to look at the incident between Hamilton and Verstappen.

If this is true then they are now dead to me as a respectable F1 team. Absolute off the scale over reaction and so blinkered too.

Shock horror high speed crash between two main title challengers, global unprecedented event and requires lawyers

Shame on you Red Bull.

He knew Lewis was there and he did shut off the corner to him, so he’s no innocent party.

Responsibility to avoid the accident usually lies with:

A. The car that's behind
B. The car that's on the inside.

Hamilton was both in this case. Max taking an unusual line just to let him through simply isn't racing.

I do think the whole lawyer thing is over the top, but I can kind of understand it. I don't understand the insistence on blaming Max from an objective view, only from a biased one.

Red Bull have always been cry babies when things don't go their way, the disrespect they showed Renault during the early V6 Turbo Hybrid era after winning 4 titles with them, getting rid of Kvyat mid season and more.

They're lucky Honda gave them IP for their engines after deciding to leave the sport again, otherwise who else was gong to give them an engine? They're probably leaving because they can't deal with RB's politics and constant whinging. They make Ferrari look like saints.

Mercedes and Hamilton are in the same bracket, not sure why you have to single out Red Bull.

The moaning this year from Mercedes towards Red Bull has been pathetic.

Because Red Bull have been doing it for 7 years straight. Mercedes of course aren't going to be happy as this years rule changed handicapped them and suited Red Bull, but they've still got on with at and giving RB a run for their money. Even Stroll and Otmar at Aston Martin been complaining more than Mercedes who were also effected badly by the rule change.

I suppose Red Bull were over the moon with the engine changes in 2014 that stopped their domination?

Rules always change, it's a weak arguement.

Red Bull don’t even make engines so that’s completely out of their control and not their problem.
