Line up for Saturday

I want us to play better football this season but I'd take the scrappiest of 1-0 victories on Saturday!

I do think we'll be on it though and it'll be a pretty good game. It'll be special in front of the fans again.

Won 4-0 the other day

I won't be doing it anyway, I'll be at the game and the reception/wifi in OT isn't fast enough to keep up with a live thread of everyone abusing me.

I'd be amazed if we didn't go for the closest team possible to the one that battered them 6-2 last time.

Players like James, Greenwood, Scott will be essential for the energy + counter attacking

Leeds wised up the second game though and it was very tight.

The side that started the friendly for us vs Everton were clearly the fittest players in our squad at the time, noticeably when the likes of Pogba came on they weren't as up to speed as Beeky and Matic.

Another week of training though and you'd expect other than match sharpness most to be at a similar level.

Tbh we didn’t get out of second gear in the away game and they didn’t really threaten. We should win this one but given last season’s opener you can’t be too confident!

I think the line up minus the front line will be the same.

Hope VDB and Martial kill it for us this weekend so it can shut some of the naysayers up

I don’t understand the “bedding in” of players. Bruno came straight in and smashed it, Sancho should also come straight in.

Can he be worse than James? I doubt it.

Don’t understand why we don’t have wifi, it’s 2021, and why is the reception so bad?

Anyway, buzzing the game, atmosphere will be electric. £3 beers in the ground now too

Is my memory failing me or did new signings tend to start straight away more back in the day than nowadays?
