WGS to return?

we need someone to oversee the departments outwith the first team. development, womans, the works.

Instead of looking for a fresh approach we go for an ex manager who believed scotland couldnt qualify for a mjaor tournament because our players arent big enough, who stood and defender his pal while pointing to the fans last year for our failures.

OK. So that I get this right, WGS is coming back for a three month consultancy that he will be paid for, because he's pals with Dermot?.
Is that it?

Is that the theory?

Dermot is pals with WGS so, rather than just give him a wedge of money 'cause he's his pal, he gives him a meaningless three month contract so that he can slip some money to him?

no. thats not what anyone is saying.

what we are saying is that our extensive search to modernise the club and take it to a new direction went as far as "just ask gordon".

like when we needed a coach and strachans boy just so happened to be the best candidate.

and btw, the guy we have chosen wont even be able to give it his full attention for 3 month because he'll still be working with dundee.

Not at all.

Saying he's been given the job potentially at the expense of better candidates because Desmond is pals with him.

The fact the club have omitted to tell anyone what exactly this consultancy role entails is quite revealing in itself.

If it's to strategies for our future as claimed.. then why hire a dinosaur. Strachans views on the game are about 20 years out of date. He is far from progressive in his outlook.
