Wolves v United

Date: Sunday 29th August
Kick off: 4.30 pm
Venue: Molineux

On Sunday Wolves welcome Manchester United to Molineux.
It will be Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s 100th Premier League game.

In two closely contested games against Leicester and Spurs, Wolves have failed to pick up any points or score a goal despite dominating large parts of both games.
In their previous match, a second round League Cup game away to Nottingham Forest, they finally broke their duck and found the net 4 times.
Incredibly, those 4 goals come after recording 70 shots at goal in the first 3 games of the season with 22 on target.

Wolves squad have been boosted by the return of forward Daniel Podence after a long recovery from groin surgery. Defender Willy Boly is back in training after a hamstring problem and could be in contention for this game.

Manchester United have had a better start to their season. After a 5-1 home drubbing of Leeds they travelled to St Mary’s and picked up a further point in a 1-1 draw.

OGS has strengthened his squad this summer with the additions of Jadon Sancho, Rapael Varane and Tom Heaton but it is now reported that any further incomings will have to be paid for with player sales. With just 6 days of the transfer window remaining, OGS will have to move some players on pretty quickly if he wants to bring in any more of his targets.

The game will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Main Event and Premier League.

Tomorrow? He was in it today

Coady played a full 90 minutes starting in a back 4 but I suspect that changed to a back 3 when Grealish came on for James at 62 minutes. According to the BBC Coady had the highest rating of the 4 defenders.

That's mad. And a bit rich given Bolsonaro's record on the subject.

More worrying is that Saiss is trapped in Guinea with the Morocco squad, it is in the middle of an attempted coup to overthrow the president, nobody know who is in charge.

world's gone bonkers.

My lad just got manager's player of the season and when we got home told me he didn't want to play for the club anymore and wants to go to another local club where his mates play. Leaving me to explain to the guy who's just given him the pots and mentored him for the last 6 years that wants to foxtrot oscar. He doesn't pay me enough for this.
