Excellent nights work...

..well.done QPR..no..i mean the mighty liverpool reds of course

Fringe players making a real difference to us now, the likes of:

Kelleher
Minamino
Origi
Kostas
Curtis

I think will all play their part in the competitions we are in. Of the others i thought Bradley grew into the game and i really like Morton in mf..sadly AOC was shocking imo tonight, gave the ball away consistently...i do rate him but hes well off the pace at the mo.

If you go back couple of seasons we were moaning about a lack of cover for the front three, LB, GK(Adrian was making many mistakes) and in mf; since the we bought in / through

Kelleher
Kostas
Jota
Thiago
Elliot
Curtis
Konate

We are well set now as a squad and have real top quality.

Awesome

Not trying to rain on your parade, but there were more than few of your fellow fans, earlier this week, slagging Origi off as Aldi class.

Is he suddenly flavour on the month again?

Winning the league has turned some of our fans into awful cants, or attra Ted Young football twitter fans who are complete muppets.

Beeb..there was and always has been..but..i have always thought he is a decent player for us, and hes probably 5th choice behind the four forwards; and a really really good 5th choice.

Hope we keep him

anyone who paiys attention to preseason and what these players did last season could say these players were every bit as good as we need.

People are right to point out that mini-me and origi aint up to it but they have at least showed they were better than norwich B.

The thing about origi is he's turned up willing to run again. He is very much an attitude player. he can stink or he can play really well.

He has got two games off klopp because he has been willing to run. simple as that. The best game i saw him play was against everton 2/3 years ago and he destroyed them. last season he solidly stunk the place out.

This.

He just is way too lethargic for me in too many games.

I still don't think origi and mini are upto it for a whole season but at least they contributed positively so far this season.

Kelleher and Tsimi look like good options.

IMO he doesn't get games when he doesn't put the work in.

we shoudl realy think about it the oppoiste way round. He will only get a game if theres no other option OR if he's putting the effort in in training daily.

IMO he's been ignored in preseason, got no move and has turned in since the transfer window and took his kick in the pants and worked hard.

He burst a gut v ac milan. First time imo in 2 years.

he did ok v Norwich and lasted the 90. we can't expect a guy to run himself out in 60mins v norwich b in the league cup.

(minamino btw also was quite cramped at the end of the 90mins last night)

Its about klopp's willingness to give anyone a shot based on what they do in training. eventually if the shoe drops and a guy worked hard every day of his life and ran like that every game then he'd be on a work level with salah, suarez etc. Talent is different but imo a huge difference is in these guys career's is really really trying.

look at ox last night. half asleep. had to be moved out of RCM to LW to hide him away, never helped bradley once, never supported Gordan. Gave the ball away constantly. It was a dreadful showing. we have to ask why?

Good win against a poor Norwich side ultimately who look destined for the Championship already.

It was good to see the players performing to a good level though, the young right back looked a little bit out of place but can be forgiven for his age and experience. But most other players looked pretty assured throughout really. Maybe slightly disappointed with Ox who didn't have a great deal of positive involvement but he wasn't poor.

Like many others though, I'm glad to see Origi performing as if he has a new lease of life and if Minamino can translate his cup form into more consistent league performances, he will also be a very good asset to have.
