Remarkably, by not following the crowd of mouth breathers over the last week, I was able to drive straight into the garage this morning - no queue - and fill my tank.

Astonishing. It’s almost as if the media sparked widespread hysteria that manufactured a crisis caused by panic buying en masse.

The PRA had stated that many of their members had already ran out of petrol prior to their press briefing.

Much like the loo roll fiasco, there will always be folk who panic buy if/when there are stocking concerns. Nevertheless the root cause is the breakdown of the UK supply chain network.
