Never having been one for a knee-jerk reaction, or just a jerk, I am content to have Ole as United's manager. There were similar comments about Sir Alex in his first few seasons at OT as are being posted now.
I fully support Ole and I am sure he will prove the shallow doubters wrong.
There was one occasion when I thought I was wrong but it turned out that I was just mistaken.
Ye of little faith

Amazing how people half-read and article and get the wrong end of the stick. I did not compare Ole & SAF's managing abilities. It will be many years before that can be done. Sir Alex's start at OT was pretty dismal and he was reportedly one game away from being sacked (disputed fact now). United are 4th in the league and people are criticising?????
By Christmas it will be Liverpool and United as the top two and, barring the odd fixtures disparities for cup competitions, that is how it will stay until the end of the season. Not sure which of them will come out on top.
Chelsea, Leicester & Manchester City will fight it out for the other European Qualification places.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Unless United fire Ole before Xmas then they won’t finish higher than 3rd. City and Chelsea are levels above and Liverpool are marginally better albeit somewhat reliant on Salah.
Ole is quite possibly, pound for pound, the worst manager in the Prem.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He's not Pep or Klopp level but how does the 'worst manager in the country' come 2nd and 3rd?
Way too much hyperbole. He's nowhere near the worst. He's just not the best and fans can't handle the fact he's not. The end.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
When he’s sacked do you think a single PL club would hire him? And if so, who?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
how many times have you asked this question over the last year?
when Moyes was sacked as Utd Manager he went to real sociedad and was sacked again after a year.
he then went to sunderland and got them relegated.
he then went to west ham and was let go.
the likes of bruce, pullis and Mark hughes had job after job in the pl despite either fighting relegation or being relegated every other season.
there is no reason whatsoever why Ole wouldnt get another job in the PL/
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Moyes was a far more respected manager than Ole. Most sensible people see Ole for what he is. A decent enough guy who is at the only club bar Molde that would be giving him such patience.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
pre utd yes, post utd no
he flopped at old trafford, flopped at sociedad, flopped at sunderland and flopped at west ham... he lost all credibility after that until west ham gave him a second chance

If/when Ole gets sacked at United he’ll be seen as a flop at Cardiff and then United. A guy who will have spent half a billion and won nothing at a club as big as United because of terrible coaching. Do you honestly think a Villa or a Leeds would hire him? Name a club you think would happily take him and a fan base who would be ecstatic at his hiring.

All depends if the Saudi deal goes through I guess. If so, that’s another place who wouldn’t take him.

Absolutely this. If it goes through, I know Mourinho would do everything to get that job. Perfect fit for him.

All ifs.You asked for a prem team who would take him. Right now Newcastle would. They would take anyone.

Shows just how bizarre having Ole as manager of the biggest club in the world is. That only Newcastle would take him because they would take anyone.

You asked for one to be named. I am sure there would be others. As Dunc said earlier there is never a shortage of jobs for some of these managers who fail.

Imagine paying someone 200k a week, when no one else would pay them a quarter of that.
Whoever made that decision should be fired as well.
