I think tactically he's absolutely fine. It was a crazy decision taking Grealish off yesterday though.

Mason Mount and it's a no contest. I wonder sometimes is he just some oober rich git's kid who literally got his way bought into one of the biggest teams in the country? Because from the start and throughout all the hype and carry on surrounding him I've yet to see one performance other the time clearly spent doing his hair, which warrants any of the fuss. He's so overwhelmingly AVERAGE JOE SUNDAY it's unreal. Just got away with gametime murder at the Euros. He didn't even belong in the squad let alone on the pitch for as much time as he spent there.

See this is the problem with player hype level being linked to merchandising sales. When some half talent joey like mount comes along who by virtue of his pillock hair preening and on pitch posing, gets the attention of teenage girls and footy wives all over the country. His sales spike because said teenage girls all go demanding Mount merch from footy loving Dad. The player becomes hyped and talked about alot due to the 50 million income spike off his shirt etc sales. Instead of being measured and discussed based on his actual footballing ability.

Incidentally that income spike will also be responsible for many a starting line up spot player form doesn't warrant. Because the club making a tonne off the image wants his image out there playing. Who cares how he plays when it's the one iconic "on pitch hair flick" camera shot (£20 a pop for the poster), set to make the club a cool 40 mil easy this year that's all they need off him.
