I was at that game tonight. For 30 mins that game was going nowhere. We were lethargic, our crowd (including myself) were non existent. You were very comfortable. Then your keeper smashes a goal kick out wide, mane and your right back go up for a fifty fifty and arteta goes mental. This btw was the 2md time in the match he tried this, did the same with mane about 5 mins in. Clearly a ploy to get mane booked. Klopp was right to call him out.
That moment changed the game. The crowd were up massively, the team shifted to another gear and you lost the match in that period. Your manager turned what was looking like a run of the mill premier league game into q champions league semi final.
You may have lost anyway, but arteta was the architect of your downfall today with his behaviour.
Your manager is an idiot

Though I agree with the title statement OP, you've got the rest wrong. Great as the Anfield crowd can be, you weren't needed to beat us today. Given the timing I see why you think "Arsenal doing well, Arteta pops and crowd gets team into it." But fallout from the "Mane special" was incidental, we were were the Architects of our own downfall with individual mistakes starting with the Captain.
I do question Arteta for not keeeping Tavares pinned on TAA but it was coping until AUBA committed the cardinal sin. You CAN'T be giving away free kicks there with TAA playing, might as well tuck it past your keeper yaself. We had to score first to stand a chance and once Auba gave away that FK it over. But you are definitely right about the manager being an idiot. Last season he took more points of us than anyone else.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Honestly mate, im not trying to point score here, just trying to give a viewpoint which might not have came across on the telly.
We were.really devoid of anything that 1st half half hour and never looked liked anything was on the horizon. I fully accept our quality may have eventually told regardless but he exasperated things tonight.
I was actually very impressed with the way yous were shifting left to right and containing us. That moment changed the entire mood of the match. Arteta will no doubt have given his players a ballacking after that but personally id have a hard time taking that on the chin if i was 1 of them after his nonsense.

Mells mate, it’s hard to get it across unless whoever you’re talking to has been in that “maelstrom”
Oppo fans think we are just being bombastic, but it’s palpable the 12th man, affecting all on the pitch. Positively and negatively.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
weird fact that....the only time liverpool have won the league in 30 odd years there were no fans allowed i think maybe the fans were holding them back, is that a debatable fact...no didnt think so
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What a boring fart … how far ahead were Liverpool when games were behind closed doors?
As said the crowd acts as the 12th man - the other 11 on the pitch also need to be of a certain minimum quality.
If you think the 4-0 v Barca happens without a crowd you’re a moron.

Their crowd was very quiet in the first half of our game against them this season.

Pretty loud when Man City were shocked coming off the bus and beaten before you even got to the pitch in the CL.

You think a soppy old German would pound a bloke who looks and acts like he's in the mafia?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You watch too much TV.
Looking like a mafia boss's errandboy doesn't win fights. Size often wins fights and Klopp would plant Pee Wee Simeone like a potato seed.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As if you would put money on a spectacle wearing stuttering German to smash an argie called El cholo
You have obviously never fought before.
Speed wins you a fight especially your ability to nimbly move your legs and reposition your body and obviously how quickly you throw in your punches
Now ask yourself who is more agile between Klopp and Simeone
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't be daft. Only in the movies does agility work like that. The bigger man will absorb your strikes and once they get a hold of you you will pay dearly for your puny attempts. When Klopp takes off his glasses he doesn't put them back on until someone is six feet under.

This would be a good point but instead its utte hogwash as Liverpool were over 20 points clear of 2nd placed Man City when fans stopped going to games. League was won with fans in the stadium.
Where do these geniuses come from?

You make dumb assumptions to try and win a dumb argument.

Win a dumb argument against who? Didn't think that through, did you mate?
Still, better to win a dumb argument than lose a dumb argument like you.

Not worth wasting time arguing with idiots especially when they make the argument and it's a dumb argument to have.

This guy is so dumb he accuses me of: "watching too much TV" to try and prove a point whilst knowing nothing about me and the fact that the only TV I watch is spor because most of my time these days is spent playing sport, usually on the golf course. Then starts talking about "only in the movies" to prove a point against you.
I wonder which phat phuq is watching too much TV.
Couldn't make it up, destroying himself with his own words.
Put your shovel away.

The 12th man is generally the difference maker in tight games where the opposition does not self-inflict 3 goals. Yes the Kop can be the difference and has been in many a game. But yesterday's game was about Arsenal mistakes, not the pool crowd.
As for the title win, no better example of 12th man factor. The lack of it for all the weaker teams pool played, was the reason they were able to hold it together to win that title after beginning their USUAL choke routine right on time. It was going to hell in hand basket FAST and the covid break to regroup plus away games without a hostile 12th man boosting the opposition, meant they never dropped anywhere near the number of points they usually would do.
TIN FOIL PL trophy. Come talk when you've won it PROPERLY, facing opposition fans all season without a pandemic break leg up when you start choking.
