Reo Hatate (LB/ CDM) - versatile, and can play in 2 areas we need to improve on, looks to have an eye for a pass and we are really missing someone who can find kyogos runs seeing as turnbull is either blind or incapable.

Daizen Maeda (CF) - looks rapid and has a terrific workrate by the look of it, easy to see how he would slot into anges plan, full on energy.

some good options and 3 areas we really need to address if we are serious about winning the league.

Talk in the papers today that we'll need to pay Spurs £10m to make CCV's loan permanent. He's been a great addition this season but not sure we'll part with that kind of money with Julien almost back to fitness.

If there's any truth in that, then there's no chance we're making his deal permanent ... and nor should we TBH. Been an excellent loan signing, but £10m for a guy who couldn't get near playing in a weak Spurs defence? Aye, OK.
As has been said, I'm sure Ange will be targeting high energy players, whatever their position. BTW, whoever was pushing for/sanctioned the James McCarthy signing needs shooting. Big wages, injury-prone, and slow (things we all knew well in advance) ... just what we needed for Ange's system.
The 2 guys from the J league both sound promising, albeit both pretty wee ... in a squad already lacking height/physicality.

We need a new striker, one who can handle high balls for headers and set pieces. 25 shots with only 5 on target vs Hearts shows we are missing Eddie
we need reinforcements in this position. Ajeti hasn't won his spot, furashi keeps knocking them in
but he looks too lightweight in the league and is being bullied in the game. He needs a partner to take off some of the pressure
and hold play up a bit.
If Furashi gets injured what's our options?
