Fred

There's a strong argument to be made that he's been our most outstanding player in the post Ole era so far.
MOTM for me in at least two of the four matches.
He's looked like a brand new player. And for a left footed player , that was quite a finish with his right foot today.
Fair play to him

Another thing I'm excited about is our fullbacks. I've been pretty impressed with Alex Telles and Dallot in recent matches.
The good thing about Ralf Rangnick is that Shaw and AWB will likely have to earn back their starting places in the team. They won't just walk back into the starting eleven as soon as they're available for selection like under the previous managerial regime.

Telles and Dalot have been terrific for the last two games, which is something I never thought I'd write

Certainly never thought it would be said of Dalot

AWB has been a painful watch with Shaw not far behind him such a relief to see the 2 lads stepping up

“In the post Ole era”

Sorry but this made me laugh. The post Ole era consists of carrick (grand total of 2 games as caretaker), and Ralf (one game today).

Plus It also almost makes it sound as though Ole’s time as manager was an “era” in itself.

No issues with Fred for me. Always gives his all and doesn't hide. Has a decent pass on him and gives us mobility in midfield.

He gets left high and dry by the likes of McT and Bruno. He will flourish under Rangnick I think

era
/ˈɪərə/

a system of chronology dating from a particular event.

If you take the appointment of a new manager as the particular event then the usage sounds fair to me.
