Great great GREAT win!
Make no mistake that win Vs Palace was huge...nothing to do win clawing some points back on City but much more to do with the same players that pretty much played the last 4 games...phew!!
Looked like the quick succession of games and lack of personnel change started to show the last 30mins. People of course mention no Salah and Mane, but that's not the half of it...we are MISSING SIX attacking type players:
Salah
Mane
Keita
Thiago
Origi
Elliott
Of which 3 are attacking mfs and 3 are attackers. This gets forgotten and the upshot is the likes of Henderson, Jota, Firmino and Fabinho have HAD to just keep playing...so......outstanding to play that much and keep the standards so high.
Klopp said the likes of Thiago..Elliott and Origi should be back AFTER the international break so great to have those back for our next game.
Onwards and upwards....lets keep going..YNWA

Big win today, very gritty and ground it out under considerable pressure second half. To be expected with the effort we put in on Thursday. Team showed good character.
Been a very good January for us. Hopefully we have most, if not all of those players listed above back in contention after the break.

You get these games every now and then....3 points was the only objective. Happy with a 1-3 considering all the attacking talent missing.

It's a lot better than say 1-1 v Fulham away where we were absolutely awful and they then shut up shop.
The 2nd goal was vital timing.
The only thing we missed was the breakaway goal threat as they'd have hurt thrm
