I am happy to debate anyone about Tesla or EV's in general. I have very clear views on what is happening, but I can accept people might find my thoughts patronising.

I have heard too many times, we haven't got the energy, EV's are too expensive, what are we going to do with all the batteries? big auto is coming. I have heard all the arguments and grow tired of the same old tired rhetoric.

Sony, I don't follow anywhere near as much these days, and tend to just post a few things that people might find interesting. The reason I haven't mentioned MS is simple. This is the Playstation section.

you dont think the Activision purchase will affect Sony? Its very relevant to talk about Sonys rivals when they just took a massive swing at them

Whodunnit. Everything MS does in the console world affects Sony. But this is the playstation section, and I post Playstation news.

You seem to be upset that your post about VW, EV sales in the EU market were not taken seriously. I understand very well where VW are, and where Tesla are.

There is a much bigger picture than just sales. That was what I was trying to point out. and you not understanding that is considered condescending to you? There is not much I can do about that, But if you ever simply want to chat I will quite happily explain the reasoning to you.

Again with the presumptuous patronisation. This isn't anything to do with EV's. If I want to chat about that I will go to the thread about that, as I did before.

Anyway the sale of Activision was huge news for Sony, I just thought it would be something that peaked your interest. Infact I think it was fair to assume much like me it was very interesting news and not great reading for Playstation fans like myself. But you havent had anything to say. You dont think this could massively affect Sony?

That is a fair point Celtic, it really has nothing to do with wrestling. But like you say kids might enjoy it.

Ctually quickly looking at it, it is based around cage fighting? Which to be fair, I wouldn't mess with them, it is pretty brutal stuff.

I might have completely missed hobos point but literally all those games you listed are playable on the PS4 without issue.. you don't even need a ps5.
Wasn't his point that the new console hasn't really produced anything new? Which I kind of agree with, but then again everything has been done to death so you've just got companies releasing identical games year after year charging full price, i.e. FIFA, cod, battlefield to name a few.

Halo? Best one was halo 3, they progressively got worse as the graphics improved.the new ones are a joke. Used to be a huge halo fan, now I don't even bother reading into any of it.

What games have been specifically ps5/Xbox equivalent that haven't just been a copy of an older, better game?
Can't think of any off the top of my head.

And GTA 5, I still play that on my ps4 pro and still love it.

Yeah, that's exactly my point. I'm glad someone got it - I didn't think I'd made it that obscure!
I listed a bunch of the most important, influential and popular games ever made and get told I'm living "in a nostalgia bubble". But that completely ignores the point is that absolutely nothing like that has been released for the PS5, despite being at the same point in the life cycle of the PS2.

I'm just trying to figure out what the point of consoles is any more. I got a PS2 roughly at the time of launch, got a PS3 four years into the life cycle when it actually came good, then didn't bother with a PS4 because it never inspired me. The PS5 just confuses me. Can't wait to play that Spiderman game... again!
