Looks like he might actually get a deal done after all to buy Twitter - as early as this week apparently.
What will these mean going forward? Donald Trump will probably have his account reactivated and other ne’er do wells will be back like Alex Jones (who I think is banned). In the ever growing obsession with ‘free speech’ (which isn’t quite the thing some think it is with a privately owned company) will disinformation become even further unchecked?
And can one man owning one of the most powerful information tools on the planet ever be a good thing? He’s got form for banning people he disagrees with so is this going to destroy Twitter and turn it into one billionaires personal plaything where whatever obsessions/arguments/agendas he has dictates the direction the company goes?
