Leeds and Burnley legal action

Leeds and Burnley have written to the Premier League to conduct and investigation into a serious breach of FFP. Everton posted losses of 378 million over a 3 year period whereas the rules apparently state that a loss of 105 million is the limit for that period. Been stated that the club that goes down will sue for 200 milion and will receive the backing of the club that stays up (apparently) I've next to no knowledge of FFP and the inner workings of the financial aspects of the sport, just repeating what is all over twitter atm. Lots of mixed feelings on it from other fans.

I prefer to do the talking on the pitch and would rather see us or Burnley earn there right to stay in the prem over 90 minutes, however rules are rules and they have been applied to teams in L2, L1 and the championship, so why not in the premier league. Would rather it boil down to football tbh.

Over to you ....

Meh. Just win and relegate Burnley. Then nobody will give a toss either way.

What about a ton of inflated balloons?

A ton and a tonne don't weigh the same so...

Not much different, are you American?

What has that got to do with anything?

This is sad that 2 fellow clubs have threatened legal action. Surely this is an FA decision alone.
This is desperation at its worst.
Everton have put out a statement that external auditors have scrutinised their accounts and they comply with the rules.
Burnley and Leeds should be ashamed of their conduct. Embarrassing.

Only if the rules allow them to write off triple/quadruple similar sized clubs Covid losses.

That’s the issue here. £170m Covid losses is absolutely taking the pisssss!

Newcastle £40m
Villa £56m
Everton £170m

City lost £126m because of Covid, did anyone (apart from Everton) lose more?

Must have.

Derby's accounts were also passed off by auditors.
