The Conte Effect

Here's Conte's PL record for Spurs:

Played 27, Won 17, Drew 4, Lost 6 = 2.03 Points per game.

Goals For: 60

Goals Against: 24

He's overseen many thrashings:

Tottenham 3-0 Norwich

Tottenham 3-0 Crystal Palace

Leeds 0-4 Tottenham

Tottenham 5-0 Everton

Tottenham 5-1 Newcastle

Aston Villa 0-4 Tottenham

Tottenham 3-0 Arsenal

Norwich 0-5 Tottenham


He also led Spurs to victory at The Etihad and two draws against Liverpool, remaining undefeated against the top two this season.


What a Manager. And to think many fans doubted him this summer, some even wanting him gone. I mean, really?

Over to you Levy. There's no reason why we can't hit 80+ points next season if you back our man.

Gary Neville has gone on record to say he wasn't the right man for them. Absolute joke of a pundit who is stuck in a time machine. He really thinks they are going to get another SAF one day.

As much as I like Ten Hag I hope he fails miserably. Fook Utd and their idiot fans.

You can laugh it up, but when was the last time Spurs signed a superstar? I’m not counting re-signing Bale.

In fact, even without UCL football, I’d wager we’ll attract better players than Spurs. KSE have serious clout. We’ve already signed up 6-time 1st Team All-Pro linebacker, Bobby Wagner.

When you look at United's gutless performances this seasons, some of the shambolic defending, lack of commitment, lack of organisation and massive egos, to me its seems like Conte would have been teh perfect remedy, to come in and shake them all up like he did at Spurs. With some of the quality in their squad they could have made huge steps forward in the league, identified who needs to leave, perhaps turned around the form of some players and formulated a plan going forward. Instead all their problems have been allowed to fester under a clueless caretaker and they now start from scratch with a new man who lacks the gravitas to really impose himself on all levels of the clubs.

I can see Hag failing not because he is a bad manager but he's the wrong man at the wrong time and will likely find himself out of his depth with both the clubs hierarchy and the expectations of the fans.

We signed Bentancor (4 assists in half a season , that's more than Sancho & he's a DM) and Kulusevski ( 5 goals & 8 assists since Feb).. United's fascination with Big stars is their undoing.

I’m an Arsenal fan, not Utd.

I was referring to Kroenke Sports & Entertainment using our clout and deep pockets to sign superstars like Ozil, Aubameyang, Alexis Sanchez, Jalen Ramsey, Odell Beckham Jr & Von Miller over the last 9 years. Most of those were signed without us being a CL team.
