Good signing, and nice and early.
Does Levy know how early in the window we are?!?

Harry Kane deserves a trophy this season. The service he has given the club deserves one. It would be a shame if a player of his class does not finish with a team winning medal.

Kane definitely missed the boat to leave, similar to De Gea at United. Had the opportunities to go onto bigger and better things but I think he'll remain at Spurs for his career now.
I imagine he'll win a host of individual accolades but I can't see Spurs winning the two big trophies on offer.

I think spurs and conte will take any trophy at all tbh.
Can't see Eriksen and Perisic in the same team against top sides. Would be asking for trouble.

Levy knows he has nowhere to hide anymore with Conte here and Kane itching to win stuff otherwise he'll go. He knows he can't hide in his bed and put the alarm clock on snooze.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I get Kane may be itching to win stuff. But it is a team game, and the whole club cannot just revolve around one player. The fixation with Kane wanting to win something has to stop.
Let`s just concentrate on what is happening at the club, and stop worrying about what Kane may or may not want.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's only because Kane is such a big player for us and we are aware he had wanted to leave up until last season, and if he does leave then it changes what need to do, quite drastically.
I'm not worried about him leaving though, think he will stay.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Of course he will stay. Just I get annoyed with all the constant talk about Kane wanting to win stuff. I am sure Lloris, Dier, Son etc want to win things as well, as do the whole team.

This is from a sky sports article from April last year :
Tottenham striker Harry Kane has admitted he wants to win team trophies after losing the Carabao Cup final to Manchester City.
Kane is expected to tell Spurs he wants to leave if they fail to qualify for the Champions League next season - but will not make a final decision on his future until after the European Championship this summer - where he will captain England.
Sunday's defeat at Wembley means Tottenham's 13-year wait for a trophy goes on with Kane still yet to win a major trophy with them since making his debut in 2011
The 27-year-old, who recently admitted he was surprised by Jose Mourinho's sacking as boss, has been a runner-up in the EFL Cup twice (2015 and 2021) as well as a runner-up in the Champions League two years ago.
Since leaving Spurs for Man City, Kane's old team-mate Kyle Walker has won seven major trophies - and an eighth is on the way if Pep Guardiola's side wrap up this season's Premier League title as expected.
"When I look back at the end of my career, these are all the things I'll go over and take in a little bit more, but the goal right now as a player is to win team trophies," he said.
"As much as this is great, I want to be winning the biggest team prizes. We're not quite doing that. It's bittersweet, but it is what it is. I'm proud to win [Premier League Player of the Year], it's been a good season on the pitch."
Kane, who has registered 21 goals and 13 assists in the league this season, beat off competition from team-mate Heung-Min Son, West Ham duo Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek and Chelsea's Mason Mount.

Eriksen just liked a picture of Perisic on SpursOfficial 💙

I presume that’s just because they were mates from their Inter days, but it would be great to have both

Great signing for Spurs. Improves arguably the most important position in your team. Was hoping we’d get him as back up/rotation to Chilwell.
